The Stone Poneys travel to Litchfield to play the Blues in a Lakewood League playoff game this Wednesday night. The two teams tied for 4th in the National Conference, but Litchfield earned the home game by reason of the tiebreaker system. The teams split their season series, but the Blues scored more total runs in the two games.

The Poneys defeated the Blues in a dramatic come from behind victory in the Highway 55 Tourney, and the Blues won the playoff game last year, so the teams each have 3 victories over the other in the two years that the Poneys have been in the league.

Tony Schmitz is expected to get the start for the Poneys. Litchfield has not announced a starter. Game time is 7:30 pm.
