The Sartell Muskies hosted the Stone Poneys on Sunday at Champion Field. On one of the hottest and most humid days of the summer, the Muskies used a 10-run third inning to defeat the Poneys 12-1 in a game shortened to 7 innings.
Adam Wenker pitched a masterful game for the Muskies, striking out 9 Poneys hitters in 6 innings of work. Rob Gabrielson took the loss for the Poneys, with Jordan Clitty coming in to relieve in the 3rd inning.
